DOGMA ISSUE 10
DOGMA // ISSUE 10 // AUTUMN 2023
60-page printed fanzine, celebrating and documenting BHAFC fan culture, our club, and the city of Brighton.
Issue 10 of Dogma celebrates our participation in the Europa League with a beautiful Albion Kutte cover illustration by the peerless Gullski. Kuttes (‘cut-offs’) are popular matchday garments in German football culture, and ours is based on a truism we very much subscribe to at Dogma when it comes to following the Albion: sometimes the journey is just as exciting as the destination.
You’ll also find Issue an extremely special piece of narrative artwork from Slink - We’ve Come a Long, Long Way Together - which depicts the key moments, cultural and sporting, from our recent history.
Sam Swaffield (one of the former editors of long-running Albion ‘zine TSLR) asks BHAFC historian Tim Carder to reflect on Albion’s war years and share his personal perspectives from this tumultuous period – the emotional, as well as the factual.
We take a look back a the Summer Series, Jack Albion proves the adage that football is nothing without cans, JBD takes a look at a recent IFO report on the club’s treatment of one of its own fans, and we profile Mo Dahoud and assess his likely impact in the stripes, and Dogma’s Rich takes a deep dive into the Saudi Pro League (yuck). Plus loads and loads more.
Best issue yet? Almost certainly. Grab a copy asap.
Issue 10 is also still available as part of a 23/24 season subscription
